I've Been Busy!

There is SO MUCH going on in our world today - who has the time or energy to keep up?

I visited my Chiropractor yesterday. I asked him if he watches Fox News. He does! Excellent! Glen Beck is a hero for his cutting edge willingness to report and expose the truth.

My Chiro - Jeff Palmer - feels overwhelmed though. Of course he does. There is SO MUCH going on! He watched Glen's episode where he had a studio audience "town hall" type of show. The topic was Small Businesses - which make up 70% of our employment opportunities. No banks are loaning money to small businesses these days, making it nearly impossible to stimulate the economy. No new jobs.

Just imagine if the current government was able, via their currently proposed health care bill, to impose fines on Americans who do not have health insurance. Well, with no new jobs, unemployment rising...where does the government think these Americans are going to get the money to pay for insurance - let alone any fines. Oh...is that what those supposed "internment camps" are for...Jail for those with no money to pay those fines...

I can understand how Jeff is overwhelmed. He is the owner of his small business - a chiropractic office. He works Mon-Fri, long hours, giving of himself to his patients who are in pain. When he goes home at night, he does not feel like listening to national and international woes. He wants to relax. He said to me "it just makes me want to not know what's going on"!

Alas, ignorance is not bliss - something he is well aware of.

We're all busy! We've got our jobs or businesses to run. We work at getting or staying healthy. We make time (hopefully) to work on our friendships and relationships. We take time (working on this) to improve ourselves. Much of my time lately has been learning how to use the internet for my business endevors. Reading, writing, phone calls...busy!

As a busy person, I commit to prioritizing my life and focusing my energies on producing "fruit that will last". My mission is to truth and justice. Therefore, this blog must become one of my priorities. You, the reader, are one of my priorities. Sharing the truth and instilling faith and hope and vision is so vital to keeping our Freedom!

May each of you have the wisdom and discernment to use your time wisely, and allow to yourselves to let go of the things that hinder your fruitfulness. To listen to those who have your best interest at heart. To turn away from things that hinder your progress. Most importantly, to maintain / restore our Freedom so that we can continue to live lives full of meaning and fulfillment as our Creator intended.
