I love this story. It was just emailed to me by Facebook member Fahad Maniar (thanks!!) I never realized till just recently how true it is. I always thought it was too extreme. It's not. Read and be blessed!
A young man desperate for wealth approached a wealthy, successful man and asked him to teach him the secrets to attaining such a high level of success.
The gentleman thought for a moment and agreed to mentor this young person and told him, if you wish to learn how to be truly successful, meet me at the beach at 4am... remember to wear your best suit!
4am?! exclaimed the youngster but he understood that he wanted to be successful so sure enough he was at the beach at 4am the next morning. He asked his mentor, can you tell me the secrets to success now?
His mentor replied, first, walkin into the sea until the water is waist high. He looked at his mentor with a puzzled expression mixed with worry as he was wearing his best suit but after receiving a look that spoke volumes, he ventured into the water until he was waist high in salty sea water.
The mentor followed him and then grabbed him by the hair and forced his head under the water... Fighting to get back up the young man could not fight his mentors resistance until nearly a minute went by he managed to get his head above water and gasp for breath.
The mentor said to the young man. What was on your mind as you were under the water?
"To Breath!" replied the young man.
His mentor replied, When you want success as badly as you wanted air to breath in that moment, you shall have it!
